Tunisia's medical community is celebrating a major international achievement following the election of Dr. Lamia Ouannes Besbes as Vice-President of the French-Language Society of Intensive Care (SRLF).

Dr. Ouannes Besbes, who leads the medical intensive care unit at the Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Monastir, was selected for a leadership role within one of the most respected organizations dedicated to intensive care and critical care medicine across the Francophone world.
